About Amonica

Amonica Davis is the founder/owner of Launch On Green.

She also serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Mavuno of Ohio, a woman-owned and family-operated cannabis company with dispensaries in Cleveland and Athens. A third store is scheduled to open in South Euclid in 2026.

Davis is the co-owner of ServiceMaster by Davis with her spouse/business partner, John Davis, Jr.

In addition, Davis serves as business advisor to AKA Team Construction Management, a minority-owned construction management, self-performance, and commercial waterproofing company.

In these roles, Davis establishes business processes and strategies that drive the day-to-day operations. She encourages her diverse and talented team members to create solutions for customers as she creates opportunities for team members to learn, grow and thrive, which has been her focus since starting her career three decades ago.

Davis is a 2014 graduate of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses at Cuyahoga Community College. She is an active board member of Facing History and Ourselves, Effective Leadership Academy, and St. Clair-Superior Development Corp. Davis holds a B.A. in vocal music performance from Kent State University and a M.Ed. in higher education administration from Cleveland State University. She has completed coursework requirements towards a Ph.D. in educational policy, and is an alumna of Hawken School, an independent private school located in Gates Mills, Ohio. Amonica and John are the proud parents of three adult children, Naja, John III, and Jalen.
