About Amonica

As the founder and owner of Launch On Green (The Launch), I would like to welcome you to our co-working, meeting and event space.

I was inspired to create The Launch because of my passion to serve and assist people to grow from where they are to where they desire to be. I coupled my interests in curating comfortable work spaces with my desire to provide great hospitality. I want people to feel “at home” at The Launch, inspired to work, connect, and grow with purpose.

In addition to The Launch, I am also the co-owner of ServiceMaster by Davis with my spouse and business partner, John Davis, Jr. We were both attracted to this business opportunity almost 20 years ago because of the corporate objectives, to honor God in all we do, help people develop, excel with customers, and grow profitably.

And if that’s not enough, I also serve as a business advisor to AKA Team Construction Management, a minority-owned construction management, self-performance, and commercial waterproofing company, and Mavuno of Ohio, a Black, female-owned, cannabis retail dispensary.

In these roles, I help to establish business processes and strategies that drive successful operations. I encourage diverse and talented team members to show up and to show out as they create solutions for customers. I create opportunities for team members to learn, grow and thrive, which has been my focus since starting my career at INROADS/ Northeast Ohio, three decades ago; afterwards landing meaningful roles in the nonprofit sector, higher education administration, and finally corporate America, prior to consulting and opening Launch On Green.

I am a 2014 graduate of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses at Cuyahoga Community College, an active board member of Facing History and Ourselves, Effective Leadership Academy, and St. Clair-Superior Development Corp. I hold a B.A. in vocal music performance from Kent State University and a M.Ed. in higher education administration from Cleveland State University. I have completed coursework requirements towards a Ph.D. in educational policy, and I am an alumna of Hawken School, an independent private school located in Gates Mills, Ohio. My husband, John, and I are the proud parents of three adult children, Naja (McWayne), John III (Olivia), and Jalen, and have been blessed with our first grandchild, Grayson, daughter of John and Olivia.
